3 Things We Learnt From Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool

 1) Alisson, you beauty!

How many times has Alisson saved Liverpool this season? To be completely honest, I've lost count. He is just a world class shot stopper. Tonight, before Jota scored the all important first goal, Alisson made two quick fire contributions to deny Arsenal from getting the lead. Thiago made a horrible back pass to Lacazette but Ali was not only quick to close him down but he also made a subsequent save from Martin Odegaard. If not for him, Liverpool could've easily been behind and the entire complexion of the game could've changed.

2) Jota loves a goal against Arsenal

Diogo Jota wasn't having the best of evenings against Arsenal. He wasn't involved as much as he would've liked and when he was, he was too deep, almost in midfield. However, big players turn up in big moments and that is exactly what he did. Thiago made a defense splitting pass as he absolutely ratted the net with his near post finish. Ramsdale should've done better but Jota wouldn't care too much and his goal was his last contribution before getting subbed off.

3) Samba magic from Bobby

It's always a good thing when Bobby scores, isn't it? Bobby came on for Jota in the 55th minute of the game. As soon as he was on, he created a chance but neither Mo nor Thiago could finish it off. Shortly after, he took matters into his own hand as he showed his finesse to score Liverpool's second with a delightful flick. He wasn't the player he once was but he's still a great asset for Jurgen Klopp and it's even better when he is in among the goals.
