3 Things We Learnt From Liverpool 4-0 Manchester United

 1) Attack on fire

All of Liverpool's Front 3, Luiz Diaz, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, ended the game minimum with a goal and an assist. Luiz Diaz began the party after a strike from close range as Salah got an assist to his name. It was Salah who joined the party after a sumptuous pass from Mane. Finally, Mane got on the act as well as he converted from Diaz's low cross to make it three for Liverpool. Jota who replaced Diaz in the 70th minute also got as assist as his pinpoint pass released the run from Salah who chipped the ball over De Gea into the back of the net. It was great to see the Egyptian King back on the scoresheet and let's hope that these 2 goals could prove to be a catalyst for greater goalscoring return till the end of the season. It was a shame that Bobby wasn't involved but hopefully, his foot injury isn't serious and he can be involved for the upcoming Merseyside Derby.

2) Thiago in wonderful form

What a footballer Thiago is, eh? He's probably Liverpool's 2nd most in-form player right now after Sadio Mane. Fresh from his brilliant performance against City at Wembley, he showed his class once again, this time against United at Anfield. He displayed lovely footwork and his trademark balls to the right-wing were a treat to watch. He was also excellent in snatching the ball when United looked to counter especially in the 1st half. His performance against City might have been his best in a Liverpool shirt but tonight's performance wasn't far off that.

3) Alisson and TAA were brilliant

Alisson once again showed why he's an elite shot stopper as he made 2 quickfire saves to deny Rashford and then Elanga in the 64th minute. Trent was also great 1v1 as he got the better of both Sancho and Rashford in the 2nd half.
